Jetstream Leads builds and runs lead-capture and booking systems for trade businesses in South Australia. That means we handle personal information about two different groups of people, and it's worth being clear about both.

If you're a trade business owner who contacted us

What we collect: your name, business name, phone number, email address, your trade, your suburb, and whatever you told us about what's slowing you down. If you arrived from a link or an ad, we also record where that link came from.

Why: to contact you about our service, to book a call, and to follow up if you didn't book one.

We collect this directly from you, when you fill in the form on our website or book a call with us.

If you're a customer of a business we work for

If you filled in an enquiry form on a tradesperson's website and that business uses our system, your details come to us as well as to them.

What we collect: your name, mobile number, email address, the suburb and postcode of the job, the type and rough size of the job, your description of it, when you'd like it done, and — if you book a time — the appointment details and the property address. We also record what happened afterwards: whether the job was quoted, won or lost, and its value, once the tradesperson tells us.

Why: to work out whether the job is one that business actually does, to book a time for them to come and quote it, to give them what they need to turn up prepared, and to keep an accurate record of the work for them.

How we decide whether a job fits

This part is partly automated, so we'd rather you knew. Your answers are checked against rules the business has given us in writing — the services they do and don't take on, the areas they cover, the smallest job worth their time. If your answers clearly fit, you're offered a time straight away. If they clearly don't, we tell you it isn't a fit. Anything unclear is looked at by a person at Jetstream before it goes anywhere.

No decision in this process affects your legal rights. The worst outcome is being told that one particular business isn't right for your job.

When we pass your details on

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where your information is held

We use these providers to run the service, and your information may be stored or processed by them outside Australia:

CalendlyBooking names, emails and phone numbersUnited States

How we protect it

Two-factor authentication on every account that touches your information; access limited to the two of us; encrypted connections throughout; the endpoints our automations use require a key and are rate-limited; regular backups. No system is perfect, but that is the standard we hold ourselves to.

How long we keep it

We keep records of jobs and clients for as long as we're working with that business, and for a period afterwards for tax and record-keeping purposes. We're finalising the exact periods with our accountant and will publish them here. Enquiries that never became jobs are kept for a shorter period. Sign-in codes for our client app expire after ten minutes, and app sessions after fourteen days.

Getting a copy, correcting it, or asking us to delete it

Email admin@jetstreamleads.com.au and we'll respond within 30 days. If your details came to us through a tradesperson's website, tell us which business and roughly when you enquired, so we can find you.

Cookies and tracking

Our website doesn't use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies. The app our clients use stores a sign-in token on their own device so they don't have to log in every time. That's all.

Complaints

Email us first and we'll try to sort it out. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.

Changes to this policy

We'll post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
